ASM Nazmus Sadat, the accused in the murder case of Abra Fahd, a student of Bangladesh Engineering University (BUET), has demanded in court that he called Abar on the words of Hall's older brothers. Later he was beaten by some including BUET's Monir. Nazmus Sadat made the remarks during a remand hearing Wednesday in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court of Dhaka.
In the court statement, the accused Ifti Mosharraf said that while they were checking the devices of Abrar, Mehdi Hasan and sports secretary of BUET branch Chhatra League Md. Later he was beaten by some including BUET's Monir. Nazmus Sadat made the remarks during a remand hearing Wednesday in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court of Dhaka.
Police arrested Nazmus Sadat in court for the murder of Abrar and requested him to be remanded for 3 days. After hearing the statements of both parties, the court granted a five-day remand of Nazmat Sadat.
State prosecutor Hemayet Uddin Khan told First Light that Nazmus was not a lawyer for Sadat. The court wanted to know the accused, whether he had any statement. In reply, Nazmus Sadat said that he had called Abarr that day in the words of Hall's older brothers. Hall's older brothers beat Abner and kill him.
Mehedi Hassan Rabin, the ex-organizational secretary of the BUET Chhatra League, has already confessed to six courts, including information and research secretary Anik Sarkar, admitting to involvement in the murder of Abra.
