After three years Al Amin, Sabbir was dropped

Bangladesh will play in the first Twenty20 series against India on November 7 in Delhi.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a five-member squad for the Twenty20 series in India. After a long time in the squad, pacer Al Amin Hossain and left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny received the call.

The two stars played for the last time in the national team jersey at the Twenty20 World Cup in India. Al Amin played the last match against New Zealand in Kolkata, and Arafat Sunny took the field against Pakistan. That too was at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Tamim Iqbal was out of the team voluntarily after the series against Sri Lanka. He is returning to India with a Twenty20 tour. However, Sabbir Rahman is not in India's tour this month despite being in the squad for last month's tri-series.

Soumya Sarkar was dropped from the squad in the middle of the tri-nation series. He is on the tour of India. Mohammed Saifuddin has been named in the squad despite concerns over injury. Leg-spinner Aminul Islam Biplob and batsman Naeem Sheikh are also in the Twenty20 squad for the tour of India at the end of the tri-series.

The Twenty20 series will begin in New Delhi on November 7. The next two matches are on November 7 and 7, respectively, in Rajkot and Nagpur.

Bangladesh squad: Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Mostafizur Rahman, Arafat Sani, Al Amin Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Saifuluddin Amin Sheikh Hossain.
